Why we built this
Our Memory Book was born from loss. When founder Matthew Porter lost his best friend Pete, he realized how many stories, inside jokes, and shared moments lived only in the memories of the people who knew him. Some of those stories had never been written down. Some were known by only one or two people. And without a way to collect them, they were at risk of being lost forever.
Matthew built Our Memory Book so that the people who loved Pete could share their stories — easily, from wherever they were, in whatever way felt natural. A text message. An email. A quick note on a phone at a gathering. Every story mattered, and every story deserved to be kept.
