Doreen Kraus's memory from Peter Nicastro
I first met Peter in 2008 when I was an intern at Pfizer. As a student on my first trip to the U.S., I was struck by his warmth, his kindness, and his incredible positivity. He gave me a sense of comfort and 'home' right away—especially through his vocal support for the metric system!
I will never forget the sight of him standing in the lab in the summer of 2008, holding two massive 5-liter bottles, jokingly telling me he was 'practicing lifting two'.
Over the years, despite the distance, we shared a special bond: we both became parents of twins. Knowing our families were both navigating that same journey was a connection I truly cherished.
Peter, you will be deeply missed, Rest in Peace.
