If a book owner has switched their book to members-only submissions, you need to be invited before you can contribute. How you accept depends on how the owner invited you.
Email invitations
Click the link in the invitation email. You’ll be taken to a page where you can sign up (or log in if you already have an account). Once you accept, you can submit through any channel the book has enabled.
If you email a memory to the book instead of clicking the link, we send a verification email for that memory. Confirming it also accepts the invitation for your account, because it proves you control the inbox the invitation went to.
Phone invitations (SMS / WhatsApp / iMessage / RCS)
Send any message to the book’s number with the book code in your message. Your membership activates automatically on the first message; there is no separate accept step.
Telegram invitations
Open a chat with the book’s Telegram bot and send the book code. Your membership activates on the first message.
Already a member?
If your email, phone number, or Telegram handle was already linked to an account when the owner sent the invitation, your membership activates immediately. You can submit normally on the next page-load or message.
What you see as a non-member
If you visit a members-only book before being accepted, you’ll see the book’s gallery and approved entries, but no submit form. Contact the book owner to request an invitation.
