Our Memory Book uses per-book pricing. Every new book starts on the Free plan, and you can upgrade individual books as they grow. That means you only pay for the memorial, wedding, retirement, or family project that actually needs more room, more ways to contribute, or richer export options. How per-book billing works
Each book has its own plan and its own subscription. When you upgrade a book, only that book's limits and features change; your other books are unaffected. Limits such as how long a video can be are set by the book's plan. You can keep a simple family archive on Free while upgrading a memorial or wedding book that needs more reach and better export options. The iPhone app
The Our Memory Book iPhone app is coming soon. Like every feature, it follows each book's plan: the app opens the books whose plan includes it. Every plan includes it today. Signing in to the app always works, whatever plans your books are on.
Book themes
Book themes follow each book's plan too. Classic comes with every plan; every other theme needs a plan that includes it. The theme picker on a book's Branding page shows which themes that book's plan includes. A book that moves to a plan without its theme keeps the theme it has; only switching to a theme needs a plan that includes it. More about book themes.
Renewing or paying once
Every way of paying says which it is. Each choice is labelled either "Renews automatically" or "One-time payment", so you can see before you buy whether the charge repeats. That holds when a plan offers several billing periods and when it offers only one. Nothing is enrolled in a renewing plan without that label being on screen.
A plan we are not currently selling to new customers still stays available to you if you already hold book slots for it. Those slots create the book directly, with no new charge.
A slot you already hold also upgrades a book you made earlier, and that costs nothing. Open the book and use the button that offers to move it to the plan you hold the slot for. Reaching that plan through the pricing page works the same way: when a slot is available, the upgrade is applied right there instead of sending you to checkout.
Packages and book slots
If you plan to run more than one paid book, packages are usually the better way to pay. A package bundles several book slots at a particular plan level into one monthly subscription. For example, a Family package might give you 3 Premium slots: you can assign those slots to whichever 3 of your books you choose, and move them around whenever you want.
Packages and per-book subscriptions can both be used on the same account. Most people start with one or two per-book subscriptions, then switch to a package when they're running enough books that the bundle costs less than the individual upgrades.

Refunds and renewals
If payment verification is temporarily unavailable, the confirmation page stays pending until we can verify the charge. Reopening the page does not apply the payment again. Contact support if it does not complete.
A full refund removes the refunded payment's entitlement. Other payments and later extensions you still hold keep their coverage. A partial refund leaves coverage in place until the payment has been returned in full. If a book used one of your book slots and you then bought a different plan for it, a full refund of that purchase returns the book to its slot plan only while you still have a free slot for that plan. Otherwise the book moves to its plan's fallback, usually the free plan. Once you hold a free slot for that plan, you can move the book back with the free upgrade, or you can upgrade it from the pricing page. Ambiguous subscription charges are checked before changing your book's plan. If you see an unexpected renewal, contact [email protected] so we can check the specific charge.

Visit the pricing page for current prices, to buy a package, or to upgrade a book. The page also shows your "book slots" summary: how many you have at each plan and how many are currently in use.
