Someone you know (a friend, a family member, a colleague) has created a memory book and invited you to be part of it. This page explains what that means and what they're asking you to do.

A memory book is a collection of stories

Think of it as a living scrapbook. Instead of one person assembling everything alone, a memory book gathers stories, photos, voice recordings, and heartfelt messages from the people who were there. The result is something deeply personal: a gift that captures how others experienced a shared moment, a person, or a chapter of life.

Why you received a link

The person who created this book believes your perspective matters. They sent you a link (or a QR code, or a text message) because they'd love to include your memory alongside the others. There is no pressure to write a novel; even a few honest sentences carry real weight.

You don't need an account

Contributing is simple. You won't be asked to create an account or download an app. Just open the link, and you'll see a form where you can write a message, attach a photo, or, if the book supports it, record audio or video. That's it.

What happens to your contribution

Once you submit, the book owner may review your entry before it appears in the collection. Your words become part of something larger: a gift that the recipient can return to again and again.
